Re: Getting your Teens to take their studies seriouslyTry to get him excited about what he wants to do (or study) in college. If he wants to be a doctor, maybe see if you can arrange for some job-shadowing in the hospital. That might help motivate him and it will also make things more "real". |

I feel you because my 15 year old daughter was just not interested to finish high school. We had a heart to heart talk about it and I was surprised because she told me that she was afraid to tell me that she wants to go to a prep-military school. When she told me I was happy because its a good start for college right? Because I really thought that she was gonna throw her education out of the door. Im really glad. So moms, ask your children on what they want and support them!
